Typinator 6.8 provides new markers for calendar week and numeric weekday

Perg, Austria: December 15, 2015 - Ergonis Software today announced the release of Typinator 6.8, a new version of their popular text expander. The new version comes with new markers for calendar week (ISO and U.S. numbering) and for the numeric weekday, and improves the structure of some submenus in the markers pop-up menu. The installer has been improved and now shows a confirmation of the successful installation only when the Typinator window does not open anyway.

Typinator 6.8 also offers improved Dropbox synchronization, better cursor positioning when smart dashes or smart quotes are enabled, better handling of non-standard line breaks in expansions and increased robustness of clipboard-based expansions. It furthermore improves compatibility with OS X El Capitan and third-party applications like DeskPM and OrganizePro. Visit Ergonis Software's website to view the full list of changes and to download a trial copy.

Typinator is a powerful, yet elegantly simple solution that boosts your productivity by automating the process of inserting frequently used text and auto-correcting typing errors. Across all applications, it detects specific sequences of typed characters and automatically replaces them with text snippets, graphics, URLs, dates and special characters.

Availability and Ordering

Typinator 6.8 requires Mac OS X 10.6 or newer and is fully compatible with OS X El Capitan (10.11).

Typinator can be purchased securely on the Ergonis Software website.

The upgrade to Typinator 6.8 is free for anyone who owns a valid license for Typinator 6. Upgrade paths are available for owners of older licenses. For information about purchases, including enterprise licenses, volume discounts, and upgrade pricing offers, see the company's web site.
