Ergonis Software license policy

We distribute our products on a try-before-you-buy basis. You don't have to purchase the product before dowloading it.

Instead, we encourage you to download and test any product for free BEFORE your purchase.

Thanks for your understanding that we cannot "take back" any license keys. All sales are final!

Trial versions will expire after a set number of days or have some other limitations. To remove the limitations of trial mode, you need to purchase a license key. You do not need to download the product again. Just enter your license key in the registration dialog or reinstall with your license key (in the case of PopChar Pro only) to turn the trial version into the fully functioning product.

Free Upgrades Included

PopChar X + PopChar Pro

A PopChar X+Pro license key works for both PopChar Pro and PopChar X on a single computer. With the same license key, you can use PopChar X when you boot into Mac OS X or PopChar Pro when you start up with Mac OS 7.1 up to 9.x.

PopChar Win

A PopChar Win license key allows you to install and use PopChar Win on a single computer running any version of Windows (see system requirements).

KeyCue

A KeyCue license key allows you to install and use KeyCue on a single computer.

Typinator

A Typinator license key allows you to install and use Typinator on a single computer.

easy beat

An easy beat license key allows you to install and use easy beat on a single computer.

Please note that it is very unlikely that we will continue to develop easy beat. In particular, making easy beat Intel-ready would require a redevelopment from scratch. We do not plan to take these steps at the time being.

For this reason, we do not offer a 2 years update guarantee for easy beat, but you can purchase the current version as is.

Free upgrades for 2 years included

Any purchase of a license key for one of our products (except easy beat), entitles you for free updates and upgrades for this product for 2 years after the purchase. I.e., the license key will work for all versions that are released within a period of not longer than two years after the purchase. If you want to use a version that has been released more than 2 years after your previous purchase, you have to place an upgrade order, which includes another 2 year grace period.

This does not mean that your license will expire. You will need a new license key only for new versions released more than two years after the issue date of your license key, but you can continue to use your old license key if you do not wish to upgrade.
