Ergonis Software is a company located in Austria and is therefore required to apply VAT to all products which are delivered by email or electronic download to customers who are located in an EU country. Regardless of the VAT rate of the destination country, we have to apply the Austrian VAT rate which is 20 %.
We do not apply VAT to purchases of customers located outside the European Union.
If an EU customer can supply a valid EU VAT number at the time of the purchase, we will not collect VAT (this is not applicable to Austrian residents, whom we have to charge the VAT in either case). Please note that we cannot refund VAT after a purchase has been completed!
